*** New Information*** Updated March 30, 2019 Grades are not officially out yet but I know many of you are anxious. Let me first say thank you for coming and having the courage to tryout. If you didn't make the team this year find me at school and I can help you with what you need to work on. Please take this year to correct mistakes and come back next time. This team right now is based on if everyone has made grades. I will need to see report cards when they come out. If you don't have a 3.0 you will not be able to continue on this squad.
We will have a quick meeting after school on Tuesday April 8th in the career center. It will be a quick information meeting so please make sure your there. If your in junior high still then don't worry about this meeting. Your parent meeting and your fittings will be in May. Congrats everyone and I will see you on Tuesday!
Okay, some grades are in and I am ready to post our 2014-2015 VARSITY team. These guys all had a great tryout, the judges loves their talent, they were sharp, loud and they had great facials and look happy to be there. More importantly they ALL have great teacher recommendations and great grades and I think they will represent the school and each other in a positive manner. I am confident in this team and am excited to get started. I want to tell Kyra and Maya congrats on getting the highest judges scores and congradulations to all of you for all your hard work! VARSITY - 1 - 2 - 3 - 6 - 22 - 25 - 27 - 31 - 43 - 46 - 51 - 53 - 61 - 63 - 68 - 69 - 70 - 74 Varsity team, we will have a quick meeting after school on Monday April 7th, 2:15 meet by the career center, this will just be a quick 15 minute meeting. The Parent meeting on Wednesday April 9th will be for VARSITY ONLY!!! Varsity your uniform fittings will begin at 2:30 on Friday April 11th, I will let you know where to go. Probably in the counseling center again. Were spanks and a sports bra so you are able to change easily and try on uniforms and warm ups. (if you would rather not be on a Varsity Competition squad please let me know you do not except this today and we can place you on the Junior Varsity cheer squad, the only difference is they will not compete, their focus will be cheering at games and promoting school spirit.)
*Fittings for the new team will be on Friday April 11th at 2:30. This is absolutely mandatory, NO EXCEPTIONS, if you are not here on this date at this time you will not receive a uniform, warm ups, day wear, shoes etc. which means no cheer!
This is going to be a great new year for us, we are changing our Varsity team to a competition team, we will compete at two local competitions through U.S.A. cheer association at which we hope to qualify for nationals where we will compete at the National level in Anaheim California next March.
We will have two separate teams that will each have their own class period, this will allow for more individual attention.
